Curtains Up Series

A selection of music, dance, and theatre productions known throughout the country - and the world - make their way to our city in the Curtains Up Series. Each year, the not-for-profit organization Connect2Culture (C2C) brings in well-known artists from across the globe so that residents and visitors can experience big-city entertainment in Joplin. The most recent Curtains Up Series included performances by the dance company Ailey II, singer David Phelps, a capella group Voctive, and The Choir of Man. With every performance of this series, the audience is delighted as soon as the curtain’s up.
