Heartland Opera Theatre

There’s no need to travel to a large city to attend an opera; you can see one right here in Joplin. Heartland Opera Theatre’s operatic and musical theater performances have been entertaining Joplin audiences since 1998. While most of the performers come from the Four-State area there are national and international performers as well. Heartland Opera Theatre has toured full productions through Missouri Kansas and Oklahoma. Some past productions include Carmen and La Traviata.
