Joplin Little Theater
Who knew that the local loan officer was quite the thespian? Or that the local librarian could really belt out a tune? The people at Joplin Little Theatre did which is why the productions here include area performers who both entertain and impress audiences. And the theater has been doing so for a long time - since 1939 in fact making it the oldest continuously operating community theatre west of the Mississippi. Past productions here include the drama Death of a Salesman and the musical Forever Plaid.
