Visit Joplin is available to attend a planning meeting or convention where future convention bids are being considered. We would appreciate the opportunity to present Joplin as a future destination, solo or with our local partners.

Site Visits

Our sales director will handle all arrangements for your decision-maker to experience Joplin’s hotels, meeting facilities, event venues, and attractions.

Hotel Leads Services

After providing your event qualifications to our sales director, hotels or venues of your choice will be notified of the event details. Properties will respond with their current availability and approximate costs.

Guest Activities

Visit Joplin MO will be happy to provide itineraries for your group's downtime outings, showcasing our unique attractions, specialty shopping, Route 66 history, historical sites, and natural wonders.

Publicity

We can assist with a press release to the appropriate local media contacts and and with coverage of your event.

Welcome Packets

We are happy to provide Visit Joplin welcome packets to be placed in meeting attendees' rooms.
